Come and join us for Sunday brunch. Life Skills is a friendly, fun community group that empowers people to thrive on a low income. Our group will meet weekly in a casual environment to learn more about four key areas, money, organisation, health and wellbeing, and relationships while developing meaningful friendships along the way. This event is open to any and all in the community. We encourage you to bring a friend or family member along if you would like. We are able to offer this course completely free of charge for the participants thanks to Howick Local Board, COGS and Lotteries. You can even register the whole family. We are excited to be offering Life Skills Kidz (school years 1-8) in conjunction with the adult course. Kids will get a chance to learn age-appropriate life skills they will be able to apply in the home now as well as take into their future. A crèche will be available for younger children on request.
