HOPE - Medium - Acrylic Paint on Canvas

About the work: I painted this over Christmas.

It's of a place I know near Kaikoura, on the South Island, during harvest time. Easter takes place during the harvest, most years. It's a place of safety and hope. And in this place, the sky and the water seem to become one.

But this year, Easter doesn't feel very safe. My hope is that you will remember what life outside of our bubbles looks like. Someday, we will go to places like this again. One day at a time. Kia Kaha New Zealand.
